We can’t have a parade if Trump wants to shut down the government. Nothing including the military will be funded.
And he obviously has no idea what Bastille Day commemorates. Will we be dragging the Koch Brothers through the streets in carts on the way to The Guillotine in front of the Supreme Court? If so, I’m all in. While we’re at it, why not use the parade to put on display all the multi-billion dollar military weapons that still don’t work which Congress continues to fund anyways?
We honor the service of our military at cemeteries not by playing toy soldiers with tanks at a parade for some fascist GOP president who needs constant stroking. So Trump served in which branch of the military? By all means, send in the GOP clown cars, too, because the Greatest Clown of All Time resides in the White House.
The only time we have military parades are when our troops return home. Is Donald ready to throw in the towel in the Middle East and admit defeat of the GOP foreign policy for the past 50 years? Bring it on.
