I was trying to cite/post a Wiki page about malignant narcissism and found the Wiki community doing the job.

We need to remember this at all times. They have bigger mics most provided by Faux and other RW outlets, and we who oppose him may seem silent but we’re deadly because of our numbers.

My people = All those inside the Faux and right wing noise machine
I caught a bit of Faux and Friends this AM
It was delightful .
They were absolutely apoplectic over Seth Rogans appearance on Colbert last night where he said he refused to shake Paul Ryan’s hand and ripped him a new one in front of his sons

Important to remember that ‘my people’ was exemplified by the woman at the Minnesota rally who cried uncontrollably, then between sobs sputtered:

“He’s tried so-o-o hard.”

Yes, she was crying buckets for the frigging Trumpster because the rest of us are just so . . . mean.

Forget about babies and the rest trundled off in the middle of the night to detention centers or foster homes. Only Trump’s pain and disappointment matters.

The degree to which one must surrender will and independent thinking is breath-taking. But the Trumpster’s ‘my people’ are the walking dead; they feed off the hate=patriotism platter.

It fills them up. It sustains them.

The good news (maybe the only good news) is that two-thirds of the country find the policy unspeakable.

But for the True Believers? Their faith is unwavering. As is their appetite.

A long with Fox News, their preachers, all the authoritarian figures these authoritarian friendly folks obey.

It’s important to see this as also bigger than trump. These people will NOT wake up without a personal emotional shock to their system that breaks through. Anyone counting on them turning against trump if he starts a genocide does not understand his base.

He’s not the president. Just a cult leader. And his cult isn’t nearly as high-class as say, the Branch Davidians.

Same people who would never be invited to the trump’s for dinner even if they were serving McDonald’s.

Trump has obviously confused being President of the United States with being a business executive. In corporate America, it’s perfectly fine to call someone “my VP for marketing,” for instance. It’s not fine to call citizens of a democracy “my people.”

So true but what they weren’t counting on is the optics of it, not to mention the fact “your people”
are the minority, Hillary won the popular vote!

"divert resources away from pursuing more serious crimes like drug smuggling. "

In drumpfland drug smuggling is much less of a crime than immigrating while pigmented. There is no greater crime than having excess melanin in your skin.

He knows nothing about government, academia or the military which is where most successful presidents come from. He knows shady real estate deals, welching on deals, shafting business partners, making money from bankruptcy, etc. Rubes alone believe the “successful businessman”, a thing NBC helped him create when he was a reality show star.
