Mr. Shuham, Thanks for covering this. I stumbled across the ice article earlier today and it has driven me crazy since. The public needs to understand how ABnormal this adminās behavior really is.
There is ~no~ purpose for this but serving the manās vanity. This document is repolrtedly longer than most of the briefind documents that he barely attends to unless his name is sprinkled throughout. But he can devour these 2 daily documents.
And his people are feeding him misinformation ( thought he got most of it from Fox and Friends) which he then goes off and tweets or states in a speech - that he roundly gets ridiculed for. Disservice and self serving by the staff - ala keep him placated and easier to work with. I wouldnāt care - if he were still ensconced in trump tower. But he is frickin president. Help us all.

Is anyone really surprised? Be honest. I donāt mean is it strange, weird or just fucking crazy that this would happen in the U.S. with any President (or head of an agency, or a corporate CEO or President, or a school principal, or your Uncle Ray). But, is anyone really surprised?

If only thereād been some sign that he was stupid, shallow, impulsive, and had a dangerously fragile ego before the election. If only thereād been some indication that the office he was running for entailed dealing with grave international crises, matters of life and death, war and peace, annihilation and existence on a regular basis. If only someone had warned people that it actually fucking mattered whether the person in charge with the nuclear codes was sane.

And the MSM will report upon it as if itās just a thing that happened. Glenn Kessler will solemnly fact check each bizarre statement with a straight face. CNN will put on paid surrogates to argue about whether the imaginary divisions being moved around on the map are imaginary or real. And no report will actually question whether these things have some bearing on mental competence.

after the departure of ousted communications director Sean Spicer and chief of staff Reince Priebus, according to unnamed sources.
Spicer was the White House Press Secretary, he was never Communications Director. If he was, he wouldnāt have had to resign when the Mooch was hiredā¦ as Communications Director.
