Discussion: Report: Trump Meets With Billionaire Donor David Koch At Mar-A-Lago

And let’s not forget Anatole France and his maxim:

In its majestic equality, the law forbids rich and poor alike to sleep under bridges, beg in the streets and steal loaves of bread.

More than anything, Trump craves adulation and approval. So long as a billionaire is buttering him up, they are best buds in Trump’s world. The two ways to Trump’s “heart” are as a sycophantic yes-man or as a appreciative power-broker. If you tell him what he wants to hear, he’s putty in your hands.

As an aside, Trump doesn’t hate. Hating would imply caring and Trump doesn’t care about anyone except himself. Even his children are just extensions of himself. He may express words of loathing and distemper against people who disagree with him, but he’s not emotionally mature enough to actually hate them. He’s just aping hatred as he understands it from seeing what others do. (Monkey see, monkey do and all.) It’s why “Lying Ted” and “Lock her up” and “Drain the swamp” are thrown by the wayside now. They’re no longer obstacles in his way, so there’s no reason to act like they are evil incarnate anymore.

Great post, and a key to getting under trump’s skin.

Useful idiot to true billionaires should put the sting on. Those guys don’t socialize with him unless there is something in it for them anyway.

And the liberal entertainment community may be a more valuable asset than once thought, if they could keep trump distracted and upset. We’re going to need every angle there is.
