The New American Leadership, Trump Style - uh, let Russia decide.
So it turns out Trump, after all his grandstanding against Obama, is an absolute pussy and a loser.
And here we were supposed to get leadership and winning, not kow-towing to third-world dictators.
Sad!
Maybe Kushner is the REAL Secretary of StateâŚ
Iâve heard of Lincolnâs alleged ghost at the White House, but where is Reaganâs?
Iâve said it once, Iâll say it again: thereâs more Russians in DC than ever were in Habana during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
As much as Trump and the Republicans dogged Obama alllll those years about lot having the âballsâ to do anything about Assad, this is the solution? Leave it up to Russia? So basically Assad will be back to normal with no interference.
This is American excellence. âLet Putin decide.â
Yep, that is why he and National Security Advisor Flynn needed an absolutely secure (from all US Intelligence agencies) channel to communicate in complete secrecy with Trumpâs handlers at the FSB.
I hear ya. But in reality, our choices in Syria were always limited - unless we want war with Russia, or another disastrous regime-building operation. Surely Iraq has cured us of the fantasy that we can be âwelcomed as liberatorsâ and just install a democracy in regions like this. I wish it were that easy to bring peace. Trumpâs approach to these matters isnât much different from any other Republican - criticize Obamaâs course of action, oversimplify the problem, and claim it could be fixed âif only a real man were in charge.â Then of course, they get elected and have no more power over the situation than their predecessor. Itâs depressing actually, to see this same scenario play out over and over, and the public never gets it.
Rex, quit. Just do it. You didnât want this job - your wife did. Why? So she would finally be âacceptedâ by society? Washington DC is not Texasâthey are always going to snicker behind your back. Itâs also not Russia where you would fit right in with the rest of the oligarchs.
I thought King Rex was part of the plan to Make America Russian Again
Oh heâs there, itâs just that he always gets lost in the winding corridors of power, which makes him a uniquely ineffectual ghost.
Wow. Breathe in the leadership, everyone!
Tillerson said Russia âfailed to uphold the agreementsâ
The latest example of governance by the party of personal responsibility. Itâs not our fault, we are the true victims here.
Who would have thought that an oil guy that was trying to get access to Russiaâs oil before he became secretary of state would give Russia a lot of leewayâŚuhhh everyone?
He wonât quit until after sanctions have been lifted on RussiaâŚin particular, with regards to Exxon Mobil. Once that is done, I believe he will resign to spend more time with his new money.
Another job outsourced to a foreigner. At least it is a European. We wouldnât want people from, say, Syria to determine Assadâs fate.
Given that Trumpâs fate is up to Putin, we should not be surprised by this. I believe this is called the transitive property from the pre-common core era: If A = B and B = C then A = C
