Discussion: Report: Sanctioned Russian's Plane Flew To Seychelles Before Secret Meeting

Let me get this straight: Was the plane sanctioned?

So we’re supposed to believe that Prince and this Russian mobster went all they way to the Seychelles for a 30-minute meeting? What’s wrong with Skype? Obviously, the alleged meeting was a dodge so they could write off the trips to the islands, which are said to be heaven on Earth.

It was to avoid all those Obama wiretaps. Also, they have a great buffet.

Last chance to see it, before it gets drowned by Global Warming…

Whether it is sanctioned or not Erik Prince is running an independent Intelligence/Covert Operations organization which is not aligned with U.S. interests. His dealings with the Russians and Chinese are no secret, although he remains a useful tool for the CIA as a contractor, allowing them some relief from culpability.

I suspect at some point Prince will become a public liability when his usefulness comes to an end. How he is dealt with will become the question.

…Dmitriev’s expressed a desire to return to normal trade relations between the U.S. and Russia.

“Return to normal trade relations” – sounds like a synonym for ‘lift sanctions.’
Then again, it’s possible they were just talking about about something really important to the Russians, like adoptions.

Hmmmmm…curiouser and curiouser.

Or perhaps I should say “collusiony-er and collusiony-er”?

I thought the meeting was a mere coincidence according to Prince.

Me, too. They explained it as a chance meeting at the Seychelles’ Starbucks, didn’t they?

Erik Prince is a parasite who built a mercenary business that allowed the Bush administration to circumvent conventional constraints on the military, but then under Obama ended up under scrutiny and so moved to the UAE. Like Putin, he must have been overjoyed with the prospect of a complete incompetent being elected US president, effectively ending that scrutiny. The Trump Tower meeting gets the attention, but no one ever lost money betting on Prince being at the center of a plot to subvert international law and privatize state wealth.

He’ll be invited to a tea party with cannolis.

My vote for what should be done to the murderous mercenary traitor,

Much quid. Many quo. Wow.

Only thing I know about the Seychelles are they’re a raved-about and hideously expensive bonefish destination. You can pay up to 15K for a week, when you add it up.

My dementia must be setting in, because I could not follow this article at all. Is it clear to anyone else? Can someone please summarize it for an old dope?

Given its location in the middle of the Indian Ocean, with a population of nearly 95,000, I’m sure it was pure coincidence that Andrey (the spelling of his name used on his plane registration; tail number P4-MGU) Skoch and evil prince Erik Prince would show up in the same place at the same time. It happens every day!

With all the possible back channels here – Cohen/Moscow, Pappadopoulus/Mifsud, Flynn or Kushner/'Kislyak, Sessions/Kislyak, NRA/Torshin, Manafort/GRU, Page/FSB, Cambridge Analytica/FSB, Stone/¿quien? – there must’ve been a tremendous amount of legitimate, pressing business between the Drumpf campaign and the Russians. Probably that tower in Moscow.
Who’dda thunk it?

Nothing is totally clear in this murk, but you basically have sanctioned Russians meeting with a de facto Trump representative. Since the whole theme of this business is election help in return for lifting onerous sanctions, it seems like an example of a certainly potential conspiracy to violate election law and engage in influence-peddling. None of that is evident without talking to the various parties under oath, but what else would these people have to talk about?

Well, it’s in the middle of the ocean! Where else are they gonna land? In the water? Everyone tries to make everything into a big huge deal when it’s nothing.

There was a “secret meeting”, that we all know about now, between Eric Prince (Trump buddy), Kirill Dmitriev (a Russian bigwig) and George Nader (UAE bigwig). This is known.

The new reporting is, another Russian bigwig named Andrei Skoch just happened to fly his private jet into town the day before and the 6 people on board just happened to stay in the same hotel as the meeting. Since Skoch is on the Specially Designated Nationals And Blocked Persons List, it would be a no-no for a US person to be meeting with him.

Here is a link to a Seth Abramson thread on this meeting.
