Ammon Bundy: Doesnt Federal govt care about the children who are with us? We got them here as a human shield. We want federal govt to provide us food till this is resolved. Our kids shouldnt be malnourished.

The refuge is huge. Road access isn’t the sole method of supplying the lodge. Smuggling food, generators and the fuel to power them, and other supplies over land routes under cover of night seems a plausible reaction to road blockages. Federal agents can’t guard a hotel holding the President without falling into the crotches of local prostitutes, losing their weapons and IDs, and engaging in drunken hijinks. Knuckleheads trying to out-think other knuckleheads should be a fun affair to watch.

Not that I think anyone would try to get supplies to them in the first place, but the night doesn’t offer much cover to a snowmobile hauling a trailer. They’re loud and, if the drivers aren’t 100% familiar with the route, headlights and slow going are a must. Easy pickin’s for the sheriff and his local boys who want these guys out of town.

First they’ll get all belligerent and say they have prepared for this eventuality.
Second they’ll say a lot of horseshit about Valley Forge.
Third, after spending a couple of nights shivering in their Sponge Bob, Square Pants© Sleeping Bags, they’ll get into their pickups and start looking for the nearest Denny’s to have a nice breakfast of hot caffeine and fried grease before heading back to their traiers across this great country.

This has been my position. Then don’t let them surrender for a while. Let them spend a couple of weeks laying on the cold, cold ground and missing the playoffs.
Finally, don’t let them go anywhere but jail. The specter of having to be in confinement with ni(CLANG!) and without their guns should make it very difficult for any of them to get any sleep.
