Should be interesting and probably won’t happen. Does anyone seriously think Sterling is just going to give up? And Silver needs 3/4 of the owners to agree. Good luck with that.

Any one of them could make the purchase alone. But the idea of Oprah, in part or whole, buying the team is delicious justice.

Keep in mind Donald Tokowitz “sounds like success” Sterling paid a little less than $13 million to buy the team and it is now worth $575 million according to Forbes and his net worth now is $1.9 billion (Wikipedia). No fainting couch or big handkerchiefs for him.
