Discussion for article #245400
So the only other Democratic party member is out, so that means its over right? I kid… not really…
“You can’t fire me, I quit.”
Just another unemployed human for all the other species on the planet to laugh at.
Not a huge surprise. Just a bystander to the real candidates, sadly.
Marty, we hardly knew ye.
Been expecting this since reading (yesterday?) that his campaign is basically broke / in debt…one account said they had to take out a $500,000 loan to meet payroll and current expenses.
Interestingly, the night he dropped out may also be the night his supporters may have had a real impact – by throwing their support behind Hillary or Bernie. Will be interesting to see the analysis of that after the fact.
Meanwhile, my initial reaction is this could help Bernie in New Hampshire. But that’s not much more than an (ill-)educated guess.
Who could tell?
I think his campaign strategy was to hope Hilary fell under a bus.
He was my Mayor, and then my Governor. And I liked him a lot. He was just in over his head and a bit stiff. I was sorry people didn’t get to know him. He makes a lot of sense.
I read nothing but good things about him. He has good positions. Just seems as if this wasn’t his year. He’s still young, though.
Last chance to bag on O’Malley!
