Discussion: Report: Officials Pushed Flynn's Saudi Nuke Project After Warnings It Broke Law

Tom Barrack has been able to ride under the surface for almost two years due to so many other scandals, but that’s over now.

Between this, heading the Trump Inauguration, and making extremely inappropriate comments about Khashoggi, he’s getting all the wrong types of attention. And this is all thanks to Democrats taking charge of the House and the various investigations.

Trump’s name isn’t mentioned here, but mob boss that he is, you know damn well he knew all about this and, more importantly, had been promised a taste of the “proceeds” this project would generate. Indeed, that taste is maybe why donnie brought flynn on in the first place.

On another note, the fact that these people thought they could get away with transferring nuclear reactor tech outside the country, even before they were warned off it, makes them appear even more clownish than they’ve appeared to date. I know nothing about the laws regarding this, but that there are laws, and strict ones, should be obvious to anyone who gives it a moments thought. I dunno, maybe they had assurances from GOPers in Congress that they’d approve it under the Atomic Energy Act. Now that could be interesting.

Why am I getting a sick feeling in my stomach about all the criminals that are boot licking for a pardon

Interesting.

Committee Republicans said Tuesday they were not included in the drafting of the detailed report and had not received a copy until Monday night. They said they had not had a chance to fully assess it.

But did republicans know about what was going on? Hmmm.

No wonder republicans have been all in with Trump and his schemes. Good god.

these generals

Which generals? Flynn, Kelly, McMaster? Trump’s generals.

Image a Middle east with Israel, Saudi Arabia and Iran all possessing nuclear warheads and/or “suitcase A-bombs”. I, for one, am skeptical that the MAD theory would apply in this corner of the world.

Even if, in the unlikely event, he knew nothing. He’s the “captain of the fuckin’ ship”. Doesn’t that count for anything any more?

The buck stops down the hall, somewhere down there, I think some guy named Roger sits there. Check with HR, they’d know his office assignment. I’d help but I’m new to politics, just kinda getting the hang of things, even now. Wanna play nine quick ones?

Doesn’t it say somewhere in Mike Pence’s favorite book that we have to let the Promised Land blow up so we can all wear halos and learn the harp?

If nothing else you have to hand it to these clowns for making the Keystone Kops seem competent.

I just wish we could see the massive pie-fights going on in the Special Counsel interviews.

“NO”= there is no law in the US. Trump has packed the courts and Americans are down with it.

Really, El Gales…the answer is really “YES” or “NO”

all the snark and clever wit we have cannot hide that fact

ETA…If in fact the above answer IS “NO” it is the DUTY of the Fourth Estate would to broadcast that fact to the public. Failure to do so would be an act of Treason.

Sometimes, it’s hard to accept the depths to which we have fallen.

I won’t accept it until we actually reach the bottom.

We will not reach the bottom. The society is too interconnected…but it will be bumpy. The entire point of our anxiety is the nature of the method we must use to save the Republic:

THE U.S. LEGAL SYSTEM

An outside Army cannot save us like we saved Hitler’s Germany.

But using the Legal System axiomatically means that we will always KNOW less than those Law Enforcement Officials we must rely upon to save us…while at the same time, Trump has been instructed by Putin to use every moment available to destroy, undo, stain, corrupt and occupy every News Cycle

The corruption is without any bounds -selling nuclear secrets for cash money. This is why Judge Sullivan blasted Flynn for selling out the country. He saw all of this and more. For two years the Republicans in Congress knew shit and did nothing absolutely nothing. They are all traitors.

The committee Democrats, in investigating the claims, did not have support of Republicans who controlled the committee until this year,

Donald is too corrupt to care if what he does is wrong and too dumb to know how bad it could be for all involved. All he sees is money in his pocket and name up in lights.

Oh great, let’s give nuclear technology to a country that thinks its OK to brutally dismember critics of their regime, behead petty criminals, and lash so-called “heretics” for violating religious codes. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?

But he ran it by Jared, so it’s all good.
