It’s great to hear that Mueller is tightening the noose ever so slowly and deliberately. He’s a pro and the pigs are about to squeal!

Does it work that way when you aren’t completely honest on your security clearance forms? Asking for a friend.

You mean when you answer to the best of your recollection but your memory just happens to be faulty about any meetings where a quid pro quo is discussed?

It depends a lot on the mood of the people doing the clearance.

(I have been interviewed for someone else’s clearance, and had family members who got clearances, and the investigative effort has not been uniform.)

The vise is tightening and I believe that is why tRUMP is lashing out. This transgender ban to serve in the military is directly related to tRUMP freaking-out. That’s why we have out of nowhere he bans transgender peoples serving in our armed services --which tRUMP just signed. There’s also a reason why he amped up his attacks on the First Amendment (independent free press.) He know’s Mueller is hot on his case and he and his family could in up in the slammer!

Manafort has emerged in recent weeks as a linchpin in Mueller’s probe into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election, potential collusion between Russian officials and the Trump campaign, and the financial dealings of various Trump associates.

“In recent weeks?” Manafort is the first reason we even started thinking about all this a year ago.

Ok when all is said and done I insist on a prime time special for Steve Kornacki to diagram the defendants; their relationships to each other and their roles; and white boards, colored string, and post-it notes, lots and lots of post-notes.
I just know in my bones that Trump is not smart enough to plan and execute this operation-who is Mr. Big? Will we ever get to that?

It used to be Friday was a news dump day, people wouldn’t pay attention til Monday and the villains had some breathing room, but everyday is a bad news day now for the villains.

Trump issued a pardon for Arpaio. TONIGHT!

OMG

I can’t even wrap my head around him doing this tonight when a CAT 4 is hitting Texas.

What an asshole.

The rule of law does not apply if you are loyal to Trump. This is really really bad.

I had to verify that one! Yep.

It’s hitting Texas. I can’t believe anyone thought the optics were good.

Wow.

Arpaio has to admit guilt to accept it.
So there’s that.

“Golly,” I wondered innocently, “how might this affect GOP electoral fortunes in any place where the Hispanic vote at all matters, like for instance the United States of America?”
