She fits the Fox profile. Blond. Blue eyes. Good looking. Articulate. Bad attitude. Self-important. Poor excuse for a journalist.
Probably that this is a âjournalistâ who is facts-be-damned who is chasing any attention she can get?
I at least remember the days when the incompetent people who werenât fired were either made associate deans or had the same last name as the CEO and Chairman of the Board.
As the NEW YORK article shows clearly, Ms. Logan was a byproduct of bad management, but itâs also pretty clear that she alone will take the fall (plus her producer). An additional important facet is that the rightwing noise machine (THRESHHOLD Editions in this case) helped propagate the bad storyline. A book by a sister company (S&S) obviated 60 Minutesâ usual fact-checking procedures, because marketing, synergy, sucking up, etc. Rightwing booksâmore fiction than fact.

Remember the olden days when gross incompetence would get people fired?
[/quote] In Olden Tymes, brazen, wild-eyed irrational partisanship was also a minus for a network âreporter,â but now weâre going so far back actuallyâŚ
One would hope Crawford would be worried, but experience spanks that hope hard. Sadly, she is looking at a comfortable, lifetime career in the wingnut welfare system.
dont watch 60 minutes anymore, but when I did, the show was excellent at exposing corruption and wrongdoing on a regular basis; guess not so much anymore.
Right wing demagogues like Logan, infiltrated 60 minutes for that very reason, credibility. They have now destroyed 60 minutes forever. Itâs unbelievable she wasnât publicly and immediately fired.
T&A still rules the airwaves. Anyone that can come up with a more likely reason why Logan would stay on at CBS, has my full attention.

Sheâs known to have had affairs including with Michael Ware. The question is, was she giving sexual favors to men in power to get scoops? It appears this Davies guy was probably lying to get into her panties.
So Clarissa is now Fagerâs drug dealer? The course of âSixty Minutesâ over the past 15 years demonstrates that Paddy Chayevsky was right when asked about âNetworkâ as a prediction; he replied âIâm writing about whatâs going on now.â And that was 36 years ago.
Chayefskyâs prophecy was completely fulfilled with Glenn Beck, right down to the Howard Beale histrionics.
