Discussion: Report: Kushner To Be Part Of 'War Room' Pushing Back On Russia Scandal

Also going to feature Battleship Potemkin and the massacre on the Odessa stops, but really just a depiction of the hasty retreat of the trumPP braintrust.

@leftcoaster

Soon enough orange will be twitting and if he doesn’t refer to President Macron as Macaroon, moron or maroon just to repay the handshake in his usual childlike way, I’d be very surprised.

Oh. OK. Right.

Kushner, whose brilliance in politics perfectly qualifies him for all things, finds himself “in charge of Trump’s Russia problem.”

OMFG.

Lawyer up, Jared. If you survive this at all, you’ll be lucky. Start by researching the term “fall guy.”

I have just two words for you: Loo zer. Or maybe you would prefer "designated loozer,"set up by your father-in-law just to defray his expenses.

The picture of Kushner for this story shows his haughty and ice-cold demeanor perfectly.

I’ve always seen him as terminally creepy, too.

We outran him basically. We were in Taormina at the head of the trip, the last half and first half of the 1st and 2d weeks of May - thank dog. The place is small, the streets are narrow and the place was crammed with military, carabiniere and local poliza from every region of Sicily. I could foresee all of this. We left there for Palermo and we found out while we were in Palermo that there was a total internet and wireless blackout in Taormina and nobody was there yet either. I have no idea how the drivers could operate without cellphones or the hotels without computers or the shops without charge card machines, but that was the situation.

We left Italy right before he came in. It was already under high alert, but at least we didn’t have to be embarrassed on the spot.

And to answer your first question - when I read that Comey had been fired, yes I could feel y’all here and if I could remember my TPM password I would have tried to comment from my phone. Just as well I didn’t since it would have burned up a lot of international minutes.

It’s interesting that the most obvious solution to the problem doesn’t even occur to them. If you don’t want bad press about doing and saying stupid shit, then stop doing and saying stupid shit. Is it really so hard?

He was okay in the Middle East but fell apart in Europe which hates him. We had so much to discuss over his bad behavior and embarrassing moments, it was like he was projectile vomiting all the accumulated grievances. We shuddered and we laughed nervously. Der Spiegel wrote a scathing editorial about him, basically called him a child who has no place as leader of the free world.

People missed you, and on Monday the joint will be jumping. So, welcome back again.

Ah thanks. It’s so nice to be missed. I missed y’all too. I can’t say it’s altogether good to be back in the US(SR), but I’m glad to be back amongst my peeps.

Oh Oh! And I did watch the Melania hand swatting videos = both of them. hahahahahahahahaha

Remember all of those accolades about Jared and Ivanka being the moderating, reasonable influences on this White House? I didn’t buy it then, either . . . .

Kushner thought he could treat Comey the way he treated Chris Christie and it didn’t work out. There is no reason to believe that he will show better instincts going forward, especially since he will be thinking mostly about what he can do to save his own skin.

The only thing Jared seems to have learned when his father went to jail is that you have to try harder to obstruct justice.

There are anti-nepotism laws in place but they don’t apply to unpaid staff which the Cushys are. Law was passed 1967 in response to JFK hiring RFK.

@thunderclapnewman

@rb639 It’s the arrogance of the wealthy and privileged and the trumPPs and the Kushners are exactly that. Leona Helmsley before she went to jail described the rest of us as “the little people.”

Apparently, it is that hard for them.

Did some one tell him how the TrumpIDon’tCare and his budget will effect the majority of IA voters?

Well, if anybody’s doing an effective job of communicating that to Iowa voters, it’s not the Iowa Democratic Party. If you visit their website or their FB page you have to work hard to come away with anything with any impact. Dems are fine at policy, but they suck at messaging—they have no clue how to communicate salient points quickly, succinctly, and effectively.

I don’t underestimate this guy. His father is a crook and he must have learned a few things about cheating from him. Now he’s joining up with his purported nemesis. This will be a scorched earth fight from these two. Gonna get real nasty.

On the bright side, his crook of a father ended up getting convicted and going to prison.

Hopefully Kushner similarly fails to avoid the consequences of his actions.

Trump has taken a group of his clowns and given them their own car because they have been so marvelously effective in managing these crises in past. It is remarkable to see how the price he’s paying for alienating the intelligence and law enforcement communities continues to grow by the day. Even Friday afternoons aren’t safe anymore.

Or, the Triage Center.

Although, the orangeman wanted to exchange phone numbers with Macron. I doubt that Macron obliged.

“Due to an unfortunate change in President Trump’s schedule, we will need to unfortunately postpone the previously scheduled rally in Cedar Rapids,”

“Unfortunate”? The redundancy is what’s unfortunate. I guess the people Trump hires to write the WH press releases is a dumb as he is.

Am I reading this right? If Kushner is found to be guilty of these allegations then he too would face the consequences of his action, and would not avoid them.
