But… what would it take, I mean how many points would Hillary have to be down in the polls before the SD start pondering the possibility of getting behind Bernie. Yeah, national polls suspect this far out but you must admit, Trump being the everyday dumbass he is, how is it he’s polling so well against Clinton? Either Sanders is a drag on her aspirations or the Republicans are starting to circle the wagons.
Then there’s Gary Johnson and Bill Weld running as 1&2 this weekend(?) at the Libertarian Convention. Two former two-term governors - and already registered in 50 states! And they both do the TV thing real good.
Republicans would respond differently to this, were it one of their own and probably blame Obama’s liberal agenda or something. My response is the same regardless of who’s involved - If it looks like he’s guilty of a crime, then by all means, please charge him with one.
The polling this far out is worthless and the SDs know this. As the Presidencies of McCain and Romney will attests to. And most of the SDs know the massive skeletons that would make Sanders toxic in the General.
