To recap:

At the time Hilary used a private server it was not against the law. The law was changed AFTER she left the office of SOS.
Out of the hundreds of thousands of emails on her server, a total of 3 email threads were RETROACTIVELY classified by Republicans looking to catch her – and they concerned matters which were already in the public record, including a published newspaper article.
To top it off, the private server was far more secure than the State Department servers, which were hacked, probably by the GOP’s Russian friends.
