Discussion for article #232547
The Post noted that this was the third time in recent months that the police force has shot a suspect who was allegedly using cars as weapons.
I would say given this statement, its time Denver PD had some new training on how to engage suspects in stolen vehicles, to prevent injury and/or death on either side.
I defy anyone to deny that they havenât, at least once, wanted to shoot a teenager.
shoot happy cops everywhere? seems like a trend,
I deny that I have ever wanted to shoot a teenager unless loud rap music at a stoplight was involved.
Double so if the kid is a white kid
Once again, Eustace brings his irrefutable logic into playâŚhowever, I need an automatic weapon for that and the socialistic BATF will still not grant me a license for one despite a reasonable need.
Why shoot a teen when a swimming pool is more effective?
Or a hammer.
When someone is dumb enough to drive a car into anyone, using it as an intimidation weapon, they should expect to experience a consequence. Of course, this is the police we are talking about, so the odds are about 50-50 that the driver actually did what the police said she did. Believing anything the police says is very dumb too.
A hammer indeed⌠how could I have missed the obvious?!
If Shitburner hadnât gotten his goofy ass banned, heâd be in here with what he would consider a pithy argument for the banning of cars.
Someone likes to do their killing up close and personal.
If youâre going to whack a copâs leg with the bumper of your car you gotta pay for it with your life. Law of the hood, donâtcha know.
Iâve never wanted to shoot a teenager. I havenât wanted to shoot anyone else for that matter. Why would I?
She signed her life away when she tried to take the police officerâs.
Maybe, maybe not, Iâd like to see video. 16 years old, maybe drunk, maybe not. If she stole the car, definitely bad. But Iâve seen some of the videos of so-called assault with cars and usually itâs someone just trying to get away. Dumb and dangerous.
Iâm not faulting the police because I donât know what happened yet.
I fantasized about running a few people over with my car. Just like Grumpy Cat says, âTwinkle, Twinkle little star, I want to hit you with my car.â
âThey may have had gunsâŚâ
can be said of every vehicle in the USâŚ
A cop-out for nervous cops.
It brings to mind the Southpark episode where Uncle Jimbo yells âItâs coming right at us!â right before killing a rabbit or some other innocent creature in order to get around the law.
