In New Mexico, a provocateur registered as three dead people and then complained to the media about voter fraud. Shortly after, the incumbent Republican ran TV ads claiming that she was against voter fraud. The Democrat was County Clerk in the county where the fraudulent acts were committed.
And the Democrat lost. Any coordination or connection there between the victor and the fraudster?

I’ll admit to being disappointed. Some were suggesting that Rahm was behind it - tripping up the election to help his BFF, Bruce Rauner, since he could not openly support him. If that were true, not only would our new CEO be smirched from the get-go, but Rahm would be tainted going into his re-election next year.
These people are bozos who don’t even represent many/most in the Illinois GOP, which is actually pretty moderate. Even this liberal voted for George Ryan some years back, since the downstate GOP candidate was pro-gun/anti-choice.
I predict a long prison sentence for someone.
Just not anyone involved in this latest escapade.
There had better be some jail time for these thugs.
If you closed a polling place with a phony bomb threat, it would be a serious crime. If people could prevent selected polling places from opening by sending phony instructions to election judges, and then get away with an apology and community service, the next election would become a shambles.
And no one’s going to call bullshit. Republicans are taking control by attrition, all because good people choose to do nothing.
Rinse and the RNC will soon be issuing a repudiation of the on-air racist who said Rs hate the n***** in the White House. That will happen, won’t it?
