Last week he spoke to Elizabeth Warren and THIS week he’s skipping the Summer DNC Meeting! OMG do you know what THIS MEANS? —fans self— It means that the scrappy kid from that hellhole of hellholes, that city on the edge of darkness, the place where angels fear to tread, yes my fellow TPMers, the city of SCRANTON, PA could be…maybe…facing off against the Mighty H R C in a Democratic mud fest to the DEATH!!!

Or it probably just means nothing at all.

Something was reported on CNN that deserves a few minutes of our time: the three young Americans on the train in France received the Legion of Honor from President Hollande. We can be so proud of them.

For all the speculation that emerged around the Warren meeting, two things to keep in mind:

  1. Warren is the Senate Democratic envoy to progressive groups, and would be a key figure in setting the narrative for the upcoming, high-stakes Iran vote(s) as the Senate returns from recess.

  2. Biden met with Warren after it became clear that the stock market was about to take a pretty big dive, meaning the economy is about to vault back to the top of the national conversation, and she’s easily the party’s most effective communicator on economic issues.

Well, combined with this article from Tiger Beat on the Potam…I mean Politico:

It obviously means that they are going to run for co-presidency. Why else wouldn’t the only Senator being asked if s/he is going to run 3 years from now, refuse to answer the question??
