Discussion for article #245316
All indications are that it’s rival biker gangs. Let’s see if it’s the same clowns from last years brawl.
There are so many serious issues in this world to be concerned with, I’d pretty much forgotten “biker gangs” was even still a real thing.
Nobody saw any Muslims. Cable news moves on. NRA deplores the stabbing.
Yes, I can hear Wayne LaPierre now: “The cutlery industry needs to start taking responsibility for the carnage it causes. When will these people be held accountable?”
Harley drag bar!!!
Well, if nobody saw any Muslims, they weren’t looking hard enough!
I have to play with my gun, I have to play with my gun…I have to stroke it and stroke it and stroke…oh, it went off…
Assholes!
They are what they have always been: criminal terrorists.
Gunz iz gud.
Biker Gangs - the Paleo-Terrorists
How do you know that? Nothing was said about biker gangs in the article.
Go to the local link/news, there are reports from people there, and those people are afraid to even give their identities because some of these gangs are thugs.
Plus it’s a very logical guess.
Usually any “gangs” are a bad thing. It immediately becomes a rivalry, and some of them are just violent.
Not everyone who rides a motorcycle in a biker gangster. I agree some bikers are thugs. But then so are some non bikers.
I’ll take a look at the link and see what it reveals.

@ShawnTyrrell45 - We do not provide victim information. Details on deceased will be released by the coroner.
…
OK then I’ll look further.
And that twitter feed was the only “local link” that was in the article. Did you have a different source for “local”?
In this story from the Denver Post it says in the seventh paragraph that an anonymous witness said it was caused by gang rivalry. I mean, it’s a motorcycle event, you don’t need psychic powers to guess what happened. Of course the outlaw gangs are a very small percentage and they’d be bad guys if they favored pogo sticks, but they do congregate certain places. No stigma meant toward people who just like motorized two-wheelers.
Oh, the overwhelming majority of people who ride are NOT thugs. I was referencing biker thug gangs.
Like the assholes in NYC a few years ago.
As I said …not everyone who rides a motorcycle is a murdering thug. But thanks for that link. That’s a source to get a bit more detail.
I said what I did cuz most of my friends ride/have ridden cycles. Including me (past tense)
Me too, mostly the little fun ones long ago. Ever ride a mobilette? Very zippy but about as light as it gets.
From my perspective, that is so sad. I understand what you’re saying and recognize that some people feel more superior or comfortable if they create divisions (or exaggerate them). I guess my life is so far removed from the need for these very superficial rivalries … there’s a part of me who just wishes this type of human would friggin’ die off already. I’m looking forward to humanity when we finally get past all the “differences” and move on to exploring real growth … spiritual, space exploration, figuring out more how to live in harmony with nature and still reap the rewards to technological advances. We obviously have a ways to go.
