What the hell kind of name is good latte? More like bad coffee to me
Naw⌠this guy would be a fat lazy gautleiterâŚ
Lining his pockets with âliberatedâ name_your_undesirable_group lootâŚ
Well, we sure as hell canât look to the GOP to be a check and balance like they claimed they would be. All they can be expected to do is cower, hide, bloviate and cover up.
Well, in German âLatteâ is a vulgar word for a hard-onâŚ
Maybe his name really just means âbig prickâ?
No, thatâs not all. They can be counted on to assist the Executive Branch by defeating the checks and balances they are supposed to be providing.
There are still major questions looming about Goodlatteâs staffâs involvement in the executive order. For example, did Goodlatteâs staff sign nondisclosure agreements to work with Trumpâs transition, which would have barred staffers from discussing their work with their boss or congressional leadership, as has been reported.
Why would anyone consider a ânon-disclosure agreementâ binding or even legal? The U.S government is not a private entity.
Sorry, Rep. Goodlatte, that dog ainât gonna hunt!
Lol, youâre right!
I donât. Itâs far simpler than that. Peepee and his transition team did such a monumentally horrible job setting up his transition that he didnât have the right people in place to craft his EOs effectively. Whatâs worse is that heâs so paranoid that he didnât trust anyone within the DOJ, since their not âhis peopleâ, to go to them for help with the Constitutionality of the EO. And because one congressman out of 538 is trying to save face by claiming, âHey, guys! I wasnât fooled. I knew all along. This was all part of the planâ doesnât somehow mean Peepee is taking over the federal government.
Itâs not just Goodlatte. WatchingTrumpâs meeting on âcybersecurityâ signals that they think itâs all over but the crying. Weâre moving ahead with a crony capitalism model, whereby everything is based on connections with or at least not offending Trump. Everything goes through Trump and the ability to mete out punishment resides with Trump. At least in their minds, it looks like weâve already transitioned to the New World Order.
Bob Goodlatte is my congresscritter. His congressional district (VA-9) has been safely drawn to give him 60:30 re elections since the days of Leroy Newt Gingrich. I will be meeting with Olâ Bob next week, feel free to reply with your pithy questions and observations. And join with AG Eric Holder and President Obama in the National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC) and help get Bob Goodlatte out of government!
A. Shredding the Constitutional separation between the Legislative and Administrative
B. Making the guilty parties sign a secrecy oath for what they just did
C. Denying it ever happened
10 days in and Trump has already shredded the US Constitution and whatever good will he had on the Hill. SAD.
Impeachment hearings in October.
Am i to suppose Ryan and McConnell are cool with the idea of being kept in the dsrk about what trump/Bannon are up to?
Itâs like the parent who asks the child with a blueberry smeared face if they ate the muffins. They arenât wise enough to think ahead so first âdenialâ, then âpossiblyâ, then âI didnât think youâd mindâ or âI thought you said yesâ and finally âbecause they were so goodâ It it were so serious it would be a riot!
NDAs regarding federal employees are frankly unenforceable.
Federal law requires that those employees be free to testify about their work, their work environment, and the orders they receive.
Those NDAs also violate the 1st Amendment, because they amount to government restraints on free speech.
Plucky,
You donât think thereâs a coup? I suggest you read whatâs in this link⌠but have a shot of whiskey near by because this read is very unsettling. I am not given to conspiracy but this piece is well researched and attested:
Exactly, and who is going to sue them in civil court? This is nonsense.
Iâve already read it and itâs just more hyperventilating by liberals who are starting to sound more and more to me like the Tea Partiers who predicted FEMA camps and Jade Helm.
âThe final decision was made at the highest levels of the Trump Administration, and I support the Presidentâs executive order.â
Translation: âI know nuzzing! NUZZING!!â What a weak-kneed weasel, but then, he is a Republican. I repeat myself.
First, it has to be officially revealed that the NDAâs actually exist, I figure, and then someone has to have the balls to go public with it. As long as it is all done behind the scenes, the litigation wonât even startâŚ
Because government employees technically work for us. Obviously, there are NDAs for handling classified information, but anything that DT would have federal employees sign beyond traditional NDAs would likely be for the purpose of covering something up.
