Emanuel Cleaver and Dick Durbin are the two most trusted and honest cats in Washington.
He is pretty humble too. The other day he walked into my 20 something daughter’s store. She sort of recognized him. When it came time to pay he presented his credit card. Stumbling she asked if he was “the Emanuel Cleaver.” He smiled and quietly responded saying he “was one of them.”
