It’s laughable that Amash claims he beat his Ellis, who Amash says is more interested in “…themselves than in doing what’s best for their district,”

That describes Amash to a fucking T.

Way to heal the wounds and bring the party together there, idiot. That’s the libertarian Way to Win!

Is this guy in a gerrymandered bunker district?

Seems these guys are just born angry. Interesting though that Ellias did run a very negative campaign against another conservative. Justin was just better at finding those nerve endings.

Amash got at least half a million dollars from Club For Growth. Money from individuals, right.

Not really. That part of Michigan is solid Republican and has been for a long time. It’s given us the De Vos family and Amway. Yay.

congratulations amash - at least this guy believes in something

They are always so graceful in defeat and humble in victory, aren’t they?

Apparently nobody told Amash that politics is a game and like all good games you might need your vanquished opponent’s friendship later. Graciousness in victory doesn’t just show a victorious candidate has good manners, it also shows he is smart.

Such progressive, forward thinking candidates; the GOP should be very proud of how they have taken politics to even lower depths than once imagined. They, along with the tea potty will ruin our once great country if we don’t confront them, and put an end to their radicalism. Good conservative values are one thing, anarchy is another. Investment by the government in our own people is not evil; starving the economy is. Loyal opposition once was a virtue, now it isn’t even considered. GOP cannot win the country over by their divisive tactics and attitudes, but they can take us down to 3rd world status. Moderation is the key in spite of what the radical right wing says.

Doing exactly what he’s accusing his opponent of???LOL! No depth too deep for these assholes.

Congrats? Are you serious? He’s a teabagger. Do you live in Michigan?

No, he/it lives in teabaggerstan.

The teabagger formula is, if they lose it’s because of the entrenched establishment that holds them down. If they win, it’s because the establishment is weak and they are taking over. Really, they are all teabaggers now, it’ is only a difference of small degrees that separate them.

What it means outside of the right-wing bubble, is that they are divided between damaging the country on the sly or just wrecking the country loudly and proudly. Neither is out to help.
It is not a battle of good against evil. It is a war of terrible vs. ridiculously horrible. The best of them has caved to the worst of them and the affect of that is worse than worst.

What happens when Ellis endorses the Democrat Goodrich and starts campaigning for him?

Folks:

I have not seen any of the adds in this campaign. But I could understand where a Tea Party Republican would consider the accusation of ‘pro choice’ as despicable. And if Mr. Ellis’ campaign did insinuate that Amish is ‘al Qaida’s best friend,’ then ‘despicable’ is not a bad description of what went on. And who wants to applaud Peter Hoekstra? This interests me: given the Republican character of the area, does this primary open a window for the Democrat?

Why is he ‘despicable?’

“Cause he challenged ME!”

lamonth thinks Amash is great because this article had the magic words “opposes the NSA” in it.

He thinks that’s standing for something. Never mind that Amash also opposes Social Security, the Department of Education, the Department of Energy, the EPA, the Federal Reserve and pretty much everything the else the Federal Government does.
