This is excellent news. I frequent Target on a weekly basis; it appears that now I won’t have to share the aisles with some of the nuttiest fucks amongst us…although most of those dirtbag white trash shiteaters prolly shop at Wal Mart anyway.
Not into MILFs, I take it?
That would be a lichen, which some past bryologists described as “a marriage between an alga and a fungus.” Of course, as you know, that marriage is on the rocks.
What you really want is the buying power of DIMKs. Double Income Multiple Kids. You have any idea what the profit margin on diapers, formula, and the rest of that baby shit is?
Hey, you leave Century 21 alone, y’hear?
I still don’t. AFAIK, the company still permits their pharmacists to refuse to fill birth control prescriptions if it offends their religious beliefs.
I’m sure Target is every bit as evil as Walmart, but I’m going to throw some business their way anyhow. Anyone who pisses off Conservatards deserves my support.
That humor wasn’t dry, it was parched.
But I laughed nonetheless.
Your average Teahadist is retirement age, and thus fairly far from the Target target audience. They don’t buy tampons or onesies or Pampers (though some wear Depends), they’re not interested in PS4 games or DVD box sets, and they already have a teevee and a crock pot.
Well, hopefully she has the same level of success.
ReaganBook founder calls for nationwide boycott… dozens hear her.
I did some hasty (so take with a grain of salt) research on this and it appears Target only has this policy in states with “Conscience Clauses,” where medical professionals are allowed to refuse to perform or participate in medical practices they object to on religious grounds. It’s kind of a damned-if-you-do (follow the law and appear anti-women’s health), damned-if-you-don’t (violate the law and invite challenges) situation.
Other companies such as CVS also follow this policy. In Target’s case, their objecting pharmacist is required to suggest another location where birth control is available.
In no way am I implying that your decision to avoid Target is wrong, just adding some context.
I’ve already been boycotting Target over their donations to right-wing politicians. I guess this is one conservative boycott and can get behind!
Thanks Porter, heading to Target after work.

So, does that mean she’ll shop there when they have sales since the CEO of Target gave $150K to virulently anti-gay politician Tom Emmer? And that they also gave money to the RGA which, in turn, supported Ken Cuccinelli?
Poor Janet, what to do… What. To. Do.
So, you and you supporters will NOT be shopping at Target?
Great, Target just gained a new customer.
My new favorite big box store!
