Trump’s surrogates are tying themselves into knots trying to rewrite history, Rudy Giuliani on CNN was particularly memorable saying he meant 2nd amendment advocates should vote, but that isn’t what Trump said and we know it isn’t what he meant. We do understand simple declarative sentences esp. when they are threats.

Patti Davis and Ron Jr. seem pretty normal and sensible, what the hell happened to those other two the Reagans raised that they turned out so ghastly? (Yes, I know Maureen died a few years ago, but when she was alive she was nasty.)

The lesson to Trump should be, control your gob dumbass. Making casually ambiguous statements that can be heard in several different ways including the way it was meant, is a dangerous and irresponsible act.
Spinning excuses repeatedly after the fact just adds to the chain of irresponsibility.
The excuse that Sir Citrus was just playing, joking or misunderheard, whatever, again, is no better than what he said. He has no self control or resolve and there is no knowing what mistake he’ll make next.
Considering that he’s already made nucular gaffes and slight allusions to assassination of his opponent, what colossal slip of the tongue will he have to make next to rise above himself?
Donald’s a nutcase unto himself, that he speaks to, understands and motivates the other nuts should surprise no one. They are listening and their switches are being flipped on, by their leader, who will lose in their name as well.
The revenge of the nuts will only make sense to the nuts, the rest of us will never understand.
