Too true. Obama also could have flown into space and circled the globe until it reversed time so he could make the Founding Fathers write the Constitution properly, but he chose not to because he’s too nice.
Obama did more for liberalism and America than any human alive, but it wasn’t enough because my dreams are bigger than his reality. His big mistake was ever trying to do anything instead of typing on keyboards all day. The fool!

Agreements and compromises with a gangster? The Dems have the power of the purse now. Nothing, NOTHING, gets done without the Dems. The Republicans shut down the gov multiple times and got rewarded with the trifecta! You, on ther hand, are endorsing cowardice. Just like Iran-Contra, just like don’t look back and don’t prosecute bankers Obama… this is the game plan of continued suffering, and you’re smart enough to know that.
With respect to your second comment, it’s been 2 years… it’s time to shit or get off the pot. There is no doubt in my mind that Mueller has recordings (Cohen obviously recorded some pretty damning stuff) and witnesses, which is why I’m beginning to think there is something else influencing his (in)actions other than justice.
No, we must wait for evidence, and at the moment Congress has none because the Republicans have covered up for Trump and hist administration for basically everything. Trying to impeach Trump because he’s an asshole will backfire, just like it backfired when the Republicans impeached Clinton; the nation will turn against the Democrats if the impeachment proceedings are seen as political instead of justified. Justification requires evidence, which requires an investigation that is thorough and lays out the crimes in excruciating detail. We do not have that yet, and we won’t have it from Mueller or the Democratic House for months still. Once the evidence is laid out, then hopefully it will be clear enough to 70% of Americans that Trump (and whoever else) must be removed from power. Until then, it’s going to ruin everything to push forward with impeachment before the nation is convinced it’s necessary.
And, anyone who is pushing for impeachment without evidence supporting the commission of crimes and misdemeanors, without clear evidence of treason, is either only interested in sating their anger and desire for power, or a Trump supporter trying to undermine the Democrats and the rule of law. Decide which you are…if you’re the former then you’ll suck it up and wait for the legal system to do its job and present the evidence for us.
I don’t understand what impeachment gains us. If Trump is actively working with our enemies against America, that’s a reason to get him out of office. Otherwise, I like Trump better than Pence or anyone else they’d replace him with; even if he’s just as corrupt as I assumed he was all along.
Trump is grenade that is most dangerous to the people around him, which is why Republicans won’t work with him anymore and he can mainly undermine the government by incompetence and not intent. Pence or any Republican replacement would be far more effective and would gain five approval points just by not being Trump. The media praises Trump any time he can read a speech as it was written and they worshiped Bush.
The next two years would pit angry Democrats against the heroic Next Reagan and 2020 is a lot harder for us. I’d just as soon let Trump stick around as long as he remains mostly harmless. Pence is more dangerous than Trump any day.
