While Republicans have been on a campaign to turn all Jurists in this country into political weapons, they are not yet completely successful. Even some of the R_Prez. appointed, prior to 2016 still take their jobs seriously. The judiciary seams to be our last best hope. Sure they want everything to got to the Kavanaugh Court, but my hope is that Roberts can hold sway over his crazy cousins in a time of potentially national annihilation.

now, I am not a lawyer, so correct me if I’m wrong, but if I am subpoenaed to provide documents on a certain date, I can provide them prior to that date and be in compliance with the subpoena.

A federal judge on Monday denied President Trump’s bid to quash a House subpoena for years of his financial records from his accounting firm and stayed his order seven days to allow the president’s lawyers time to appeal.

Since it’s stayed, and the whole suit is to prevent the subpoena from being executed, Mazars doesn’t have any right to release documents now.

IANAL, but having read the decision, it appears to me that the judge has pretty much said that the House can investigate and collect information PRIOR to begining impeachement. It also came out loud and clear that by Cummings proceeding step-by-step (crossing his t’s and dotting the i’s) that there was little for the judge to do, but site the pertinent case law. It was a total slap down of the plaintifs.
