According to the Post report, Paul has a few senators willing to join him in slowing down the process – not among them his fellow 2016er Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), who called the deal

Rand Paul becomes more impotent by the day. If he doesn’t wise up, he’ll lose his Senate seat as well.

It is a “slap in the face” to “conservatives” like Ted Cruz. Of course, for the good of America, they deserve to be kicked in the nuts very very hard, probably repeatedly. So it doesn’t go far enough. But one takes what one can get.

Wait, really? Is Cruz going mushy on us? There is so much information to be put before the American public: there’s “The Lorax” which Cruz could read; “Horton Hatches the Egg”; “And to Think that I saw it on Mulberry Street” was a personal favorite when I was five or so; and in this since season “The Grinch”.
It looks as though Cruz just doesn’t care as much anymore.

He steals real quotes from people (plague rizes), manufactures false quotes from real people, sets up his own National Board because the other one which works for almost everyone else, doesn’t work for him. Why wouldn’t he be disingenuous on this issue as well?

Not even Democrats don’t get off their butts and find a decent candidate to run against him.
It baffles me, how they had so many names being dropped in 2013 up there, and now, with a much more vulnerable Paul to run against…its all crickets.
