Yes, absolutely, but apparently the progressive liberal line is that sucker punches and unprovoked attacks are fine. Kind of amazing responses here. In most places, if a neighbor runs an unsightly messy yard, you put up a fence.

Of course, it make perfect sense to perpetuate the feud in the courts. Don’t ever let me hear Rand Paul say one fucking word about tort reform, or malpractice reform, or lawsuit abuse, or … come to think of it, anything at all. Just STFU, Rand.

If I recall correctly, this is a managed HOA community and had some pretty strict guidelines about how things work on everyone else’s property lines. I’m going to assume brush piles would be against the guidelines for anyone except the Senator, and it pissed the guy off. I’m sure he didn’t think he was going to do Sen. Paul actual physical damage.
I got a lawyer’s letter over two inches of property once. People get crazy over this stuff.
The brush pile was also previously reported as an improperly maintained compost pile.
And we’re not advocating violence. We’re mocking the Libertarian for a stupid-ass lawsuit. And for the Libertarian living in an HOA community to begin with.
