Discussion: Rand Paul Gives One-Word Assessments Of 2016 Rivals

Discussion for article #226348

Please proceed on Impeachment Republicans
From Hunter at DailyKos

McClatchy-Marist College poll shows political moderates oppose the impeachment of Obama 79 percent to 15 percent. That’s a stunning margin. And not only that, if the House GOP did initiate impeachment proceedings, moderates say it would turn them off so much that they would be pulled toward the Democrats. By 49-27, moderates say impeachment would make them more likely to vote Democratic than Republican in 2014.

John Boehner’s lawsuit stunt isn’t doing the party any favors either:

**Americans say 58 percent to 34 percent that the GOP should not sue Obama, and moderates agree 67-22. Moderates also say by a 50-25 margin that the lawsuit makes them more likely to back Democrats in 2014.**

I think they should have a Hispanic jump out at the end of every interview with Paul and go, “Boo!”

I mean, if he is going to run for President, lets see him really run.

Obviously keeping the depth of his answers in the IQ range of himself and his cult…errr…followers.

This is my nomination for “post of the day.” I am laughing out loud as I picture Rand Paul popping up and running from the Dreamer last week. Let’s make him relive that experience!

Rand Paul: mountebank

The grift that keeps on taking.

OK, now we have to watch the GØΡ carefully.

Are the corporate masters seriously foisting Cornpone on us as POTUS? Or is this a distraction for the base, while the real power lines up behind Jeb Bush?

Rat-hair.

OK, technically it’s two words, but I did hyphenate!

And Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL): “Thoughtful. And part of the answer to making our party bigger,” Paul said. “A good new face for our party.”

Yes, because Hispanics are morons who’ll vote for the GOP because Marco Rubio is brown. They don’t care about his policies, they just care that he’s brown. That’s pretty much the argument he’s making, which pretty much goes hand in hand with the GOP article of faith that Black voters only voted for Obama because he’s Black.

or that all women would vote R because Sarah Palin was on the ticket in 2008
