At some point, during 2016, Paul’s involvement in the conversation in the 2016 Presidential election will be limited to whether his wearing a toupee was a factor (among his other copious shortcomings) in his not being considered as a running-mate on the GOP ticket.

That’s a good point. Rand and the rest of the 2016 hopefuls seem to have no positive message. It’s just bash, bash, bash Clinton, Obama, anyone with a D behind their name. Neither he nor his colleagues are FOR anything, except intransigence and hate. That plays well with the Republican base, but spendign the next 15 months or so trashing all opponents without having a positive message to speak of isn’t going to be a great strategy to attract the moderate voters they’ll need to win.

Looks like he’s been laying in some kind of tanning bed. Those white rings around his eyes are a dead give-away. You don’t get that look from wearing sunglasses in a snowstorm, unless you’ve been climbing Mt. Everest.
The 2016 Presidential Republican candidate race seems to be a case of “deja vu all over again,” and all too similar to 2012. This cast of characters, when the have their debates, are eerily similar, inept, far right, and incompetent to those of the last election. They shot themselves in the foot the last time and appear to be doing the same thing again. Have at it!
Sadly for the self-certified libertarian ophthalmologist, she has eight years of standing in the way of his plans to destroy the American Dream first.

If that’s a possibility, the guy doesn’t know that the likelihood of getting skin cancer increases by about 75% by using a tanning bed. He should do what John of Orange seems to do, slather some orange stuff on.

Amen, Plucky. As “interesting” as Time and the rest of the “MSM” have found him, and as genuinely appealing as a small handful of his statements are to reasonable people, I have to believe that between the bushel of crazy that accompanies that small handful of sane and the bloated ego he labors to keep hidden under the thinnest skin in politics, he’s gonna crash and burn. And yeah, he’ll be pretty entertaining to watch when it happens.
