Within the realm of possibility? Sure. But I would say the restraint that has been shown over the last three weeks makes that outcome unlikely.
Three weeks of letting the guys come and go from their little armed occupation, keep the power on, rummage through files, etc. That does not strike me as making it likely that they’d decide to just up and shoot a surrendering man all of a sudden.

We live in the real world, they are living in a very “narrow” world of their own construct far removed from ours. That’s what happens sometime when you can’t make sense of what you see around you.

Really ? This guy has been shooting his mouth off for three weeks about dying for the cause, he talked himself into it; I doubt he had his hands up.
And I am still confused what his cause was; free land for ranchers?

There are conflicting reports from the occupiers themselves. Bundy made the hands-up claim. Another guy, after speaking with his buddies who were there, told a completely different story. Bottom line, everyone talking about it so far was not at the scene (Bundy and the other guy were a mile down the road).
Hopefully, the Feds have some dashcam video to shove in these terrorist sympathizers’ faces.

Finicum recently had foster children removed from his home. He was being investigated for using foster kids to provide an income for his family. He couldn’t hold down any job, and his so called “ranch” was nearly bankrupt. He actually fed off the systems he says he hated. He wanted to be a martyr…so wish granted. He’s now a martyr for the silliest, lame brain FUBAR idiocy in decades.

This group is apocalyptic and armed. Clive Bundy says “They are just trying to do good.” Well – if lawlessness and threats of violence are acceptable if the cause is just, then we might as well give a round of applause to jihadists. They, after all, are just trying to god’s work as they see it. Law enforcement has been patient with these people precisely because they saw they were hell bent on martyring themselves and they did not want to oblige them. If Finicum is dead, its because he was either threatening or already shooting at law enforcement. No tears for this man and no sympathy for this reckless, insane bunch of fanatics. If they all insist on suicide, let them go right ahead.
