I think I’ve told this story here before, but …
A friend of mine went to China for a conference. I think it was a conference on water issues - water scarcity, water reclamation, stuff like that.
Anyway, on his first day there, he goes out for lunch. Comes back, and he finds he has a completely different laptop bag than the one he had when he left. About the best that could be said for it was that it was still black.
Interestingly, he was simply amused by the whole thing. He’s been a diplomat for a pretty long time, and I guess he knew what to expect.

That happened to me once, except it was the woman I arrived with that somehow was swapped out. Happened in the middle of the night. Weird. I was told later my birthday had something to do with it.
Oh boy…and you KNOW how badly he and Chief of Babysitting Staff John Kelly react to any criticism by Black or Puerto Rican women…

Do you all remember his performance at the Al Smith dinner? His cringeworthy embarrassing Inaugural Address? His Lets Make Hugo Chavez Look Humble and Smart UN Adress? Well, it IS a long flight to Asia, maybe Protocol will be a welcome distraction from MUELLER!!!

He will probably take advantage of the long flight to draft another false statement for someone else on the Russia meetings. Amazing how he wants to claim Ronald Reagan Style Plausible Deniability, but Reagan was at least smart enough to never actually draft cover up statements on long airplane flights.
