Too bad conservative, evangelical Republicans don’t have a morality like that.

He’s gonna brag about how he won the election with the most electoral votes ever.

What could possibly go wrong?

I’m looking forward to the Philippine leg of the trip. Trump’s admiration and envy of Duterte’s ability to be a autocratic homicidal maniac that dispenses with due process and the presumption of innocence is always a hoot.

In other words a very tight lease, can’t wait to see how this works out.

'Don’t tweet every thought’: is Michelle Obama having a dig at Trump?

the former first lady said: “You don’t just say what’s on your mind. You don’t tweet every thought. Most of your first initial thoughts are not worthy of the light of day.”

Despite stating: “I’m not talking about anybody in particular,” Obama’s words were widely interpreted as being a sideswipe at Donald Trump’s behaviour on Twitter.

I’m really disappointed that he’s not going to the DMZ. The chance of seeing him befoul his linen at the first loud noise would have been priceless.

I’m sure he will be restrained and statesmanlike…hahahahahaha. Like this?

I’d like seeing Trump bridled up in some hokey flak jacket bearing a Presidential seal, topped off with a Michael Dukakis Kevlar tank helmet. Wrap it up by peering through the wrong end of some binoculars.

Add jet lag and not being able to sleep in one of his own beds to Trump’s innate boorishness, on top of the stress building from the Mueller investigation. It’s gonna be fun to watch, at least if it doesn’t lead to war.

Even if he were a quick study, which he isn’t, and cared about making a good impression, which he doesn’t, this stuff is tricky. Have you spent a lifetime being careful about not showing the soles of your shoes or pointing them at another person? Because even if you know you shouldn’t do that in Indonesia, you can forget. Facial expressions, little favors not asked or done, stuff that seems trivial if you don’t know that to them it’s not—anything can trip you up if you’re not really savvy and experienced. They’ll see Trump coming from a long way off, but he really shouldn’t be allowed to travel.

Translation: “I want to HUMILIATE them.”

Even as he complained during a Cabinet meeting about “bad” trade deals and deficits, including with China, Trump was restrained.

Uh huh, go on …

… “But it’s horrible.”

Oh yeah, this is gonna go just great.

Trump is the definition of ugly American. This is so humiliating for our country.

Something that we don’t read about much anymore are reports Trump still uses his personal cell phone for business and tweets. Current hacking and intrusion technology would seem to dictate the NSA immediately puts a stop to that, but I haven’t read Trump has been reined in on this issue. Traveling overseas and visiting a half dozen countries filled with curious intelligence agencies seems ripe for problems with Trump using his own phone. Anyone?

No insults. No surprises. Like that’s going to happen.

We’ll be lucky if he doesn’t start a war with our allies.

Damn, is that Bill? Lucky bastard.

Will he be bringing a bottle of ketchup along for all those state dinners?
