I think …
It doesn’t matter right now at all. It matters right now that they see what we see - which is a bit miraculous in and of itself.
Credit where it’s due and we are all Americans.
Intend to give it a real read over the weekend, but I’ve been scanning over David Frum’s piece in the Atlantic that’s getting buzz. And it’s typical Frum. You’re moving along and nodding and saying “that makes sense, well that’s wrong, but it’s interesting, yeah, that’s a shrewd point, hm, hadn’t thought of that but he’s right, damn he’s got their number” when suddenly, zoom! whoosh! crash! he swerves straight into a colossal right wing Crazytown WTF of such magnitude that it shakes your faith in everything else he said.
And it’s usually a matter of him diagnosing the ills of the right with perfect clarity, but showing himself as deeply in the grip of pervasive right wing mythology about the left and where the ideological centerline of America lies as the most Fox-toxxed, Limbaugh drenched MAGA hatted crazy uncle.
And he does that in this article with his “the dirty fucking hippie protestors are playing into Trump’s hands with their violence and disorder! As usual, the left shows it doesn’t understand how Real Americans think, they should just be quiet” analysis of stuff like this.
“There are a lot of conservatives and Republicans that can’t stand Trump. And Republican politicians need to know their constituents are out here.”
And where the fuck was this multitude on 11/8?? Fine credit where it’s due.
Oh this is good if it’s Perdue…as in David Perdue, of the Georgia Perdues.
Love it if so.
If I had to guess I would guess they were among the 3 million more
votes Hillary got. She had a pretty good margin in the popular vote.
These Republican politicians are chickenshit not showing up in person. Sending your aides out to do your dirty work and letting them take all the heat seems so weak. I like it though. So good to see…And this is happening in red states, blue states, red districts in blue states, and blue districts in red states…no one is immune to this kind of people power.
And it seems …they think we are distracted … here we go …
And …
Sorry bout the bad news —
Hard to say if it’s going to be a summer of dancing in the streets or a summer of tear gas and truncheons in the streets, but it’s looking like it’s gonna be a loud one.
We’re not distracted - I read about the Arizona woman last night. I was heartened that people tried to physically stop the van they were taking her away in.
And I’m not the slightest bit surprised about Dallas and Austin. We’re locked in a battle with our governor over this too.
They are trying bring us to heel.
I saw one protester from a different rally claim that only Republicans were called to enter first and were put in the front rows.
Gotta love some people. Went to WSB TV Atlanta site for video. Middle aged, tough looking and POed looking lady was wearing a bright pink pussy hat.
Edit. Went back and enlarged to see what was written on her t shirt: we support planned parenthood. There was another lady behind her in the same bright pink shirt with an arm full of folded ones to pass out.
Yes!
They’re going to do a lot of damage before we stop them. Lives will be wrecked, people will die. And we won’t be able to stop that. We sensed that the second the talking heads on election night started acting all weird and portentous before the first returns were in.
But at least we were spared the horror of a president who gave speeches to Wall Streeters at the going rate, which she donated to charity, and hosted her own Exchange/Blackberry Enterprise server so she wouldn’t have to carry two PDA’s.
I really liked the stand in DC… Looks like we "ran her off " HA —
Apparently Donnie isn’t finished embarrassing to death yet:
He did that weird pulling toward him handshake thing on the Prime Minister of Japan. Ai yi yi!
He just REALLY needs to find out if someone has better after-shave than he has –
Yep …Thankful for that …
Now I’m looking into a way to stay even safer from the libtards !
Wonder if they have a 3 or 4 year model ? —

That’s it exactly.
That pulling in thing is an act of agression and dominance. He pulls the other person out of their space (comfort zone) and momentarily into his space and comfort zone.
If he’s really good at it, he will know just how far to pull them in to make them uncomfortable but just short of actual awkwardness.
That’s complete crap. That’s not who is protesting.
