Discussion for article #235408
Albania?
Dental School?
Ok, I give up. What’s the punch line.
One of the patients Yzeiraj treated between late 2012 and the summer of 2013 got an infection after a root canal, and another still feels pain two years after being treated by Yzeiraj, prosecutors said.
Yzeiraj explained that dental procedures in Albania always lead to infections and enduring pain, so what is hubbub, bub?
Right now someone’s ringing Sondheim to discuss a revival: Beadle Bamford: The Venal Dental Gondolier of Fleet Street.
Iz part of government policy to discourage unnecessary trips to dental professionals:
- perform root canal
- ask patient what is complaint
- inspect teeth and related areas
- inform patient of official diagnosis
- inform patient of extras not coverted by government insurance subsidies, e.g. novocaine
- extend patient time to consider options
- pass that time by performing root canal
a) if patient agrees to pay for pain control,
i) knock patient out
ii) perform root canal
iii) perform agreed upon procedure per diagnosis
iv) complementary removal of random tooth
v) go thru patient’s purse, wallet or personal effects for payment in cash or readily convertible valuables
vi) revive where necessary, if possible
b) if patient opts out of pain control
i) perform two root canals
ii) perform half of agreed upon procedure
iii) rude, abusive, forceful, dismissive removal of tooth chosen for maximum inconvenience and/or pain
9. collect payment (if 8.a) v) , collect again)
10. book follow up and/or referral
Oowww! Don’t STOP!
