That’s pretty funny when one considers the number of republicans who are in the pockets of people like the Kochs.
Menendez will vote against the tax bill.
Randy Cunningham on steroids. He has to go away.
Not yet, he doesn’t.
I agree. If he is convicted he should appeal until Christie is replaced by a Democrat. Then he should do his time.
What upsets me is I don’t think he is alone in his corruption. I think he is just about par for the course.
I don’t know exactly what he’s done. but if he broke the law, he definitely needs to go But I agree, when Christie is gone and a dem is running New Jersey, which is always an interesting state when it comes to politics.
Not that there aren’t others in that category…
A senator taking money for his campaign in exchange for looking after the donor’s interests is now business as usual. Not commenting on ethics here, just modern American politics.
I guess you better get your evidence of that to the U.S. Attorney’s office so they can be prosecuted.
They are all crooked to some degree, he just got caught.
[naive] I thought one of the things legislators did was help their constituents navigate the federal bureaucracy [/naive] So it seems that it’s only OK to take huge piles of money if you don’t get legislation passed to benefit your constituents?
The worst Democrat is better than any Republican ; - )
Given the fact that McDonald was exonerated, I think (and hope) the same thing will happen with Menendez. I also think he is an absolute crook, but the thought of the Outlaw Jersey Whale appointing his replacement and giving the GOP an absolute majority is too horrifying to consider. Let’s see what the jury comes up with, shall we?
