Hey, leave Dan Piraro out of this!

I have to admit, I watched it, and I laughed. Not proud of doing so, but I did.

So, Anne Frank’s mother should have served coffeecake to the chief of the Dutch Gestapo?

We’re none of us perfect. But most of us aren’t fucking Nazis. So be gentle with yourself.

Bad headline. “Prominent White Nationalist?” C’mon, TPM, let’s call a hateful prick a hateful prick. Maybe “Notorious White Nationalist…”

Or “White Trash Supremacist”

No shit. What does a “prominent white nationalist” even mean in this country?

It means that, love TPM as much as I do, they can’t stop using the descriptive this POS prefers.

It may have been a real attack. But if so, the attacker didn’t land a very good punch: it seemed to deflect off Spencer’s neck.

It might have been a fake attack. But if so, they might want to increase their subtlety. The guy in back with the sign saying, “White Lives Matter Too Much”, was an obvious agent provocateur. It’s a matter of record that the alt-right pulls stuff like that. For example, the “Rape Melania” sign was a hoax:

Play with the video feed frame by frame and the attack looks like a stage-punch. One that Spencer had some practice with.

I would not put anything past that little shit.

And the really pernicious thing is that these cries of “false flag” have been quite deliberately made plausible by one of Putin’s people, Vladislav Surkov, who’s used ideas from the avant-garde theater world to help foster a sense that nobody knows what’s really going on. Tailor-made for a loony bullshitter like Trump. So be aware. Gaslighting is a thing now. How to fight it? I’ll get back to you on that.

I pronounce Richard Spencer to from hereforth be:

Herr Backpfeifengesicht

translation: Mr. Face Asking To Be Punched

Much as it pains me… we always have to condemn political violence regardless of how we feel towards the victim.

Beat me to it.

I did that frame for frame and it’s still too hard to tell. However…touching his Pepe button might have been the signal if it was a set up.

I always thought being anti-fascist was a good thing.
But then again, I didn’t vote for Trump.

You may very well be right. There’s a distinct lack of follow through.

Fuck that, you don’t get to praise mass murder as a policy position on one hand and then play the victim when your potential victims fight back on the other.
