âOur town is sick of the violence from Mexico,â he said, applauding Trumpâs plan to build a massive wall on the border. âPeople are dying every day.â
OkâŚwho wants to break the news to this guy that the âmassive wallâ isnât coming?
I suppose if the Log Cabin folks can support Republicans, why canât some Hispanics support Trump?
She says silence fell over her grandmotherâs living room when she
admitted her support for Trump during a recent family gathering that
included more than 30 relatives.
âThey just kind of seemed uneasy,â she recalled. âAnd my uncle just said, âWhy?ââ
And what did you say? I hate Latinos? Trump was just talking about Mexicans? Iâm a woman and I love to be verbally abused by Trump? I hate the idea of women having comprehensive healthcare?
Or more than likely you didnât say much of anything because youâre dumb ass 22 year old that doesnât have a clue what life is like.
âOur town is sick of the violence from Mexico,â he said, applauding
Trumpâs plan to build a massive wall on the border. âPeople are dying
every day.â
People are dying every day from the violence in Laredo? Not according to an FBI report. People are dying across the border, but what in the hell do you imagine Trump will do about that? He hates Mexicans.
Thereâs no cure for pendejo. It boggles the mind that otherwise intelligent people of the Latino, GLBT or feminine persuasion could support a republican, much less Trump. But thatâs the price of democracy. Weâre all free to have our heads up our asses if we like. Just boggles the mind.
As a gay man I tend to shake my head when I think about the Log Cabin folk. I guess like most things Republican vs Democrat it just depends on whatâs more important to the voter, money or other people.
It is rather frustrating that of course they ask the important question âWhy?â but donât even attempt to answer it.
I sometimes struggle to put thoughts into words so I can sympathize to some degree. But the reporter should have pressed for something.
This excellent point - Thereâs no cure for pendejo.- reminds of a bit of doggerel from my friend, Lee Hays on the occasion of the presidential elevation of Ronald Reagan in 1980: âDemocracy gives us the choice of which machine to vote with; And choose which brand of razor blade weâd rather cut our throats with.â
Kind of like black republicans. Makes me wonder what is really going through their minds. Do they really belief that white republicans think of them as equals?
