He says that he will reimburse the government for “his seat”. What about the cost of the other people that rode with him on those planes because he arranged it that way rather than making sure that they flew commercial? Is he paying for Kellyanne Conway’s seat to Philly? Or just for his seat? I suspect that he will find a way to minimize his tab and leave the bulk of it to the taxpayers.
I’d love to have David Fahrenthold or someone find out if he actually pays this out of his own pocket or gets reimbursed by some other party.
