Discussion: Price: Proposed $880 Billion Medicaid Cut Wouldn’t Cut Medicaid Coverage

You are too kind to the dis Honorable Dr. Price. Lying.Sack.of.Flaming.Dog.Shit is closer to the truth.

Price is right. Since the GOP will likely starve the olds/poors to death – and/or kill all of them with leaded water – there will hardly be any of them left to need Medicaid. so the spending cut won’t affect coverage, since the three olds/poors left to need medicaid will definitely be able to get covered just fine under it.

Here’s how these interviews need to start going…

"“Are you actually saying that $880 billion in cuts, according to the CBO, however you want to talk about that not being a cut, that that’s actually not going to result in millions of Americans not getting Medicaid?”

“Absolutely not…"

“Excuse me one second Mr. Secretary. Hey, Mikey…turn this guy’s mic off and cut to commercial while we get him off my show. I’m done talking to him until he can start telling the truth.”

The End.

So subtracting X from each side, we see that -8.8E11 = 0, proving his claim that this amounts to a zero cut!

Boy, republican math is so much more fun that regular liberal math - get to use so many more imaginary numbers!

Dear Sec. Price,
A $174,000 cut in your salary will not be a cut in your salary.
Sincerely,
Dont

I wish reporters could have some kind of nuclear option for crap like this. “I have here a contract for you that specifies, if what you just said is false, that you will pay a penalty of a million dollars, plus another million dollars for every time you open your mouth in public after being judged false. Will you sign this contract and put up a bond, or will you acknowledge that you have no respect for the truth?”

These lying freaks are conmen/fantasist of the lowest order.

Is he saying that the costs are being shifted to the states? If so i bet there are a lot of states who are really pissed right now. They are all probably trying to figure out how they are going to save a trillion dollars over the next 10 years while providing the same services to the poor and disabled without death panels or raising taxes.

The need remains. Without the money somebody is going to lose. Let’s crap on the least among us.

If flexibility is the goal, why can’t these Con politicians—in charge of these very programs—change the rules to provide for flexibility, already? Slashing $880 billion and claiming that “flexibility” will prevent loss of coverage is such a blatant lie, it’s hard to think of a come-back.

Price is the guy who committed perjury during his confirmation hearings and was corrupt as hell. I wouldn’t believe a word he says. So reporters need to ask, since the CBO analysis is not available, for his analysis. What does he base his assertions on? Let’s see his numbers. I think we know the answer to this. I am just sick and tired of these guys just getting away with assertions and not being challenged.

Also need to ask: What do the tax cuts have to do with all these wonderful actions?

Price said the massive cut would allow “greater flexibility, so that more resources could be put to the seniors and the disabled, and appropriate resources could be put to the healthy moms and kids in the Medicaid system.”

Translation: Tom “Scrooge” Price

  1. more resources could be put to the seniors and the disabled = “they should hurry up and die to reduce the excess population”
  2. appropriate resources could be put to the healthy moms and kids in the Medicaid system = “Are there no Workhouses? Are the Prisons still in use?”

Every single one of these arrogant Mother-Fuckers should be FORCED to purchase their and their families health care on the open market and MAKE THE COST PUBLIC (so they don’t get sweetheart deals)

We all read “Dickens” and see a cautionary tale of Greed, Callousness, and indifference to their fellow man’s suffering.
Republicans read “Dickens” as see a light-hearted story about “The Good Old Days.”
