Discussion: President Obama Reflects On Trump's Foreign Policy: It Shows He's Unprepared

Trump is prepared but for his own alternate reality.

One thing the pearl-clutchers don’t seem to consider: President Obama will be able to deliver far more people to the polls in November than Sanders could even dream of.

I’m sorry, Mr. President but that sentence was way too long.

Trump goes dumpster diving for his foreign policy ideas and comes up with trash. Or, maybe it could be called “Drumpster Diving?”

Even No-Fucks Obama is too reserved and diplomatic to say, not “unprepared,” but “nuttier than a shithouse rat.”

trump is a meglomaniac on an order we’ve rarely seen in American politics. Huey Long comes to mind, but trumpet takes it further. He doesn’t care what he says or does, just so the spotlight’s on him while he saying or doing it. He’s an immoral serial liar, and it’s a commentary on the dumbing down of this country and waste of his time that our dignified classy president has to take time to point out what was obvious the first time trumpet opened his yap. On his “investigators” rooting around in Hawaii looking for a birth certificate “They cannot believe what they’re doing.” Et tu donnie.

Don’t worry Mr. President, I will be voting AGAINST Donald Trump on November 8, 2016!

I don’t think Trump is immoral so much as amoral. “Immoral” implies not conforming to societal norms of acceptable behavior while "amoral’ implies having no conception of right and wrong.

a·mor·al adjective

  1. having no moral standards, restraints, or principles; unaware of or indifferent to questions of right or wrong: a completely amoral person.
  2. Donald Trump

More than unprepared, Donald has no interest in even knowing America’s foreign policy.

His plan is to simply lurch from one crisis to another, tweet, tweet, tweeting from his golden throne.

I looked closely at the differences between immoral and amoral before landing on immoral. It was a conflict because I think I’m seeing someone who’s both…

Does that mean you’ll be voting for the Democratic ticket in November? Please don’t let your “against TRUMP” vote go to waste when we need to, first and foremost, defeat Trump by as wide a margin as possible.

POTUS is being presidential, it actually works much better that way…

He’s too kind to say what he really should be saying. Trump is a “windbag who has NO clue about foreign policy and needs to be stopped in his tracks.”

“My fellow Americans, I am pleased to tell you today that I’ve signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes.”

Only Republicans could give us this kind of crackpot. And they want to do it again. Our bomber and missile commanders will launch on command. Hopefully a hypothetical Trump President would be kept in an elaborate Truman Show world at Area 51. Or they could just substitute a jack-in-the-box for the “football.”

Everyone please read and fully understand the implications of Mr. Marshall’s headline editorial.

Yes, it’s a fine line, and one not always drawn in the same place. And I suppose that one could be on both sides of it. For instance, Trump saying he’d like to hump his daughter is immoral, but even thinking it is amoral.

Right? “Unprepared, impulsive and callow” is bad. “Unprepared, impulsive, callow and in the pay of a hostile foreign power” is worse. Much, much, much worse. Unprecedentedly dangerously worse.

Not so much “in the pay of”, but “a wholly-owned subsidiary of”.
