Okay, just one more excuse.

Dinner in Vietnam, and then can we please get back to the Operation Jade Helm takeover of Texas?

I think I’ve been more than patient.

Hah…yeah, that Jade Helm thingy sure died an inauspicious death without much fanfare by our illustrious press, didn’t it? They always seem to miss an opportunity to show up these whack-a-doodles for the nutjobs they are…and on purpose from what I can tell. The claim made national news on TV but when the claim was looked into and deemed false…crickets.

Bourdain is the brilliant chef/writer and super-cynical, tobacco-loving, alcohol-preserved foodie who travels the world eating (and drinking) for the Food Network. His work is articulate, informed, incisive and highly entertaining for the food world. Guy’s super smart and real a hoot! I’m jealous of both Bourdain and Obama.

He’s not exactly a right-wing hero, they ditched him. Also I think he’s been a great ex-president so far.

Bourdain paid for the meal! Cheapo Obummer!

The only ‘foodie’ I’ve read to any degree in recent times is Michael Pollan, and he’s not really a cook or chef but a journalist, who looks into food related matters and resources devoted to the food industry. To me, he’s been the rare exception that’s come anywhere close to Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring in his writings with concern for our evolving diet as a species and its impact on the planet as we’ve changed over the years.

I blame Obama!

He’s always make others pay!

Bourdain’s just enjoying a good meal before he’s forced to go to Trump Tower to show his love for the Hispanios by having the bestest, yugest, most mexicany taco bowl ever.

I agree, but his travel/food/commentary show is now on CNN, rather than the Food Network.

Gads! You’re right. My error. I usually watch Bourdain on Netflix and just lump all cooking oriented stuff in with “The Food Network” moniker. Bourdain’s definitely several cuts above anyone currently on TFNs board of fare.

It’s the fault of Facebook for not giving it the rightful coverage it deserved.

Those other people in the photo were all Secret Service agents. That’s why they call it the secret service.

Bourdain is a foie-gras-defending a**hole. The man literally defends shoving a pipe down the esophogi of ducks, force-feeding them by filling them with high-carb meal for weeks like that, and ultimately swelling their liver to 10x its normal size thereby inducing liver disease and sickness/suffering that comes along with that before the animal is slaughtered (usually without being rendered unconscious first).

It’s sick, immoral, and gluttonous, and Obama should not be dining with him.
