I don’t have a pastor, but I have the same problem. In my lifetime, I’ve had presidents I didn’t like, presidents who pissed me off, presidents who were idiots (sometimes all three at once, but not always), but I have never before honestly wished that one of them would stroke out. And I was glued to the news during Watergate.

Where in the hell do we even begin the process of fixing the damage he’s done after we finally get rid of him? It’s been like a tornado that’s ripped through the social compact. There’s no going back, no fixing. Just clearing wreckage and building new stuff.

At least Trump qualifies his assertion. I was very annoyed that he lumped “real” news organizations such as Info Wars, Brietbart and 4chan with the likes of the NYT, WAPO, CNN, MSNBC, LA Times, and FOX News. (Normally, I would give FOX a pass, but have you seen that fake news show? Shepard Smith Reporting. It like watching the National Enquirer.)
