Outlier. I’m from Iowa and was just there this past weekend. The race is definitely close. But no way Joni has has that big a lead.

Sadly, no! As lousy as republicans have tarnished the record of congress for several years now, the country will now reward them with control of the Senate?? Mind is boggled!
This new result is from the Des Moines Register poll.
538 says it has the best record in Iowa. Also notes that the small sample size could lead to exaggerated changes, and cautions that any single poll should not be given too much weight, no matter how good the pollster. Not much comfort there, though.

Let that sink in for a moment.
A state that could elect somebody like her is a state to be avoided.
You might want to consider that the next time you consider passing through Iowa on a cross country trip, or considering a pale to move your business.
I can never understand states that have the good sense to elect Tom Harkin, but are crazy enough to elect Chuck Grassley.
