No surprise that the awesome RBG is the favorite, but for least favorite, I’m torn between Thomas and Scalia. I think they’re both slaves to their ultra-right-wing ideology. Then Scalia is a more vocal gasbag, and Thomas pulled the ladder up after him - not sure which is worse, but Scalia enrages me more often because he’s more out front with his bloviations.

I only hope a Dem pres gets to select her successor.
Heard Scalia twice during law school; both times I had to pick up my jaw from the floor before leaving the room, he’s that much of a troglodyte. Thomas? 52:48, lowest ever passing margin in the Senate, and after not many years three of the ayes said they’d made a mistake. As to both of them, their attending Koch bros/ALEC conclaves seems to be a way around the ban on judges having ex parte conversations with parties before the court since they get to launder the positions they’re expected to take through one layer of intermediaries.
I’m hoping a Dem gets to choose her successor, and Scalia’s and Kennedy’s and so on…
