Discussion: Poll: Majority of Dem Voters Want Congress To Block Trump At All Costs

Right now, the assumption is that she will win first round and take a L in the second round.

Now folks have to remember that bad predictions got us Brexit and Trump, so bring on April.

This is getting to be like an episode of Crank Yankers with only one crank mango-headed muppet in charge of doing all the yanking.

Notice the tweet accidentally contained a tiny bit of honesty, at least regarding his reaction to Ivanka’s alleged actions:

"She is a great person — always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!”

Well, yes, if by “golden opportunity” you mean the possible end of this country as we know it, and maybe the whole world (see The Biscuit and the Football - http://www.msnbc.com/transcripts/the-last-word/2016-08-03). :frowning:

She was talking to me about “10 million” and I couldn’t get my head around it. She linked to this from Wiki, and now it’s clear.

Thank you for posting that.

Now that is hopeful because what was being just sorta whispered is now making the pages of MSM = he’s crazy.

So what is the thought process of those who didn’t want congress to block PeePee Le Fascist?

Is it still: Oh, maybe it won’t be that bad.

Or is it still: the institutions of this country will prevent him from doing too much damage?

Oh! I know! I know! If we don’t compromise, it will hurt us in future elections! What a novel insight! Brilliant! Never been thought of before. That’s why we lost the election: all those years during Obama, when Dems refused to compromise with the GOP, who were just constantly reaching across the isle wanting to work with their “Democrat” (as the GOP calls them) friends. Yup - the voters saw the Dems in congress being all obstructionist and shit, and then made them pay for it this past fall. So better start playing nice with trump!

It’s less him they need to block than the truly outrageous and execrable things the GOP Congress is now doing, rolling back protections for clean water, the environment, drug safety, food safety etc.

Yeah somebody posted that breakdown here a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been pushing it ever since. 10 million is ever so much more convincing than 3, of course.

It was actually trending on my FB page this morning, which was an enormous, but welcome, surprise.

It really is and thanks again for posting it = I open my FB page about once every 3 months, or maybe I would have seen it but man I love it.

This is chilling news from SF Chronicle’s TV reporter.

CNN has made a series of strategic moves in its daytime lineup this week, and has added both a senior economics analyst who was part of the Trump campaign and a former “Weekend Fox and Friends” co-anchor to work the early morning shift.

CNN was asked why it made these personnel changes and CNN President Jeff Zucker said it was about trying to appeal to a broader political spectrum of viewers.

That means: “more conservative viewers because, you know, Trump and all.”

@tena I found this while skulking around FB, and it could be seen as insult to pigs.
