Discussion: Poll: Hillary Much Stronger With Dems Heading Into 2016 Than 2008

Discussion for article #234946

Further to my comment on the “Family Members as liability” discussion:

She’s going to win.

But…, But…But…The Democrats are going to have to coronate her. That is so boring to us. What will will we have to talk and gossip about? What about the horse race? What about the debates and the attendent “zingers”?. We’ll just have to make shit up. O.K., we do that anyway. But it’s going to be so borrring. Maybe you can at least get the Archbishop of Canterbury; those guys are great at coronating; to attend the Democratic Coronating Convention to provide some color [or in Brit-speak colour.]

Signed,

The MSM

She will win. It’s about time too.
Jeb won’t make it.

Just what America needs: Ronald Reagan in a pantsuit…
In Hillary you have everything that is wrong with the Democratic party.

Keep your friends, close Hillary. And feckless Democrats closer.

Maybe. Who you going to vote for instead?

She has earned enormous goodwill from Obama’s hardcore supporters by the the way she’s conducted herself from the 2008 Democratic Convention to the present and is held in far higher esteem by many of us than we ever imagined possible during that long ugly summer. My misgivings aren’t about her, but, rather are about the “old Clinton hands.” If she keeps her Administration clear of the most toxic half of that crowd, she can be a great president. If she brings them into the fold, it’s going to be ugly.

But, having said that, I think O’Malley has to run. It’ll be good for her campaign and, if he doesn’t pull off the big upset, it’s the only thing that keeps him relevant until '20 or '24.

One thing I do know is that I shudder at the thought of any Democratic presidential campaign facing the Koch Sewage Tsunami without any of the winnowing of fools and weaklings and advancement of those who are effective and cherry picking of the top talent from the losers’ campaigns that comes from a real primary.

Didn’t vote for Obama. I guess you can’t pull off that mind-reading act, can you.

Third-party. If it’s Hillary, I will NOT vote for her, nor will I vote GOP. I make NO apologies for it.

I’m concerned about the money Jeb will have along with the Koch’s 889 million. I fear this election will be completely bought.

And what to do about my flagging enthusiasm?
And I still blame Hillary for being accused of so many terrible things the last 20 years.

The GOP thanks you for your support.

Yeah, pretty much all logic-averse lefties who think their feelings somehow nullify the hard, mathematical truth that failing to vote for the person to your immediate right is effectively the same as casting a vote for the person furthest to your right are unapologetic about it.

Some of them are truly so truly naive about how our system works that they don’t think the difference between the judicial nominees and regulatory policies that will be implemented by a Democrat vs. a Republican are meaningful. Some of them are just nihilists who believe they can speed the Revolution by making things as bad as possible. But neither kind ever apologizes.

No problem, but you must enjoy losing.

Hopefully you live in a very blue state, because then your vote won’t matter. And I’m no Hillary supporter. I won’t vote for her in the Primary, but definitely will in the General. Yes, I believe in the lesser of two evils, and the Dems are the far lesser of two evils.

Not seeking an apology. On the other hand–I want to win.

I DON’T want Hillary to ever set foot in the WH unless she takes the fucking tour. This will NOT be the lesser of two evils. She will be the evil of two lessers.

I live in a blood-red state that will NEVER go for Hillary, making my vote just as meaningless.
