Discussion for article #227348
Not to be obstreperous but all these polls show is that nobody really knows what the hell is going to happen in Hillbillyland.
These next two months are CRITICAL. Pryor needs to come and SUPPORT increasing Social Security as Begich and other Democratic Senators have come and supported.
Even if they were neck-and-neck, Cotton would still be ahead.
these are low info voters your trying to convince and most are Racist wasting your time. personally i hope they do repeal Obamacare want to see how these voters would react then.
NBC/Marist Poll comes out on a Sunday?? Are these diabolically synchronized to match MTP/Todd’s debut interview with Barack Obama? These timing and push by corporate media is highly suspect…let the ‘Repubs’ take it all!! and we’ll see what awful fate lies ahead
I’d be lying if I said that doesn’t cause me concern.
Poll dancing…
must pay well…
…Koch Bucks buying elections…the Corporation way.
The decision, announced some time ago, to alter the polling from registered to ‘likely’ voters is key to this. The pollsters do not really know who is going to vote, and they judge by past patterns, which might not hold this year.
It would be nice to see turnout higher than expected, particularly among young people, African-Americans and Latinos. In Arkansas, Louisiana, Georgia and North Carolina that could make a big difference.
Looking at the actual poll numbers, this one makes me feel a little better because among RVs they’re tied (in Kentucky there was no difference), and there are both Green and Libertarian candidates who each poll at 3-4%, which they’re unlikely to make in the actual election. Still, it’s pretty disappointing to see this kind of slide from the previous numbers.
The conservative movement has always excelled at projecting the certainty, the inevitability, of themselves and their laughable policies.
This is a minority of a minority. They can be stopped simply by voting.
It seems Republicans are succeeding in their nefarious plan to contaminate the Georgia water supply with stupid pills.
or anyplace else. not just hillbillyland.
i have a very hard time understanding why anyone who has to work for a living or who wants clean water or a safe food supply for their children, or who don’t want their children to fight in rich men’s wars would ever vote for a republican.
I don’t believe these polls, especially when they are conducted by right leading companies.
This is Arkansas.
That’s easy…because the conversation is never about working people’s wages, or clear water, or a safe food supply. Plus, the threat of war always pulls an electorate to the right. All the press action is always on more divisive issues.
Another loony tune repub, how the South loves them.
