Oh, please. Every candidate is âflawedâ after they lose. MA is the most solidly Democratic state in the US; NH is purple. Underestimating Scott Brown is a good way to become âflawed.â Shaheen is popular and is an incumbent, but Obama isnât popular at all in NH (surprise), and Brown is appealing and presents himself well as bi-partisan. Fortunately, itâs unlikely that Brown can overcome the cynicism about his carpetbagging. He ainât no Robert Kennedy.
The White House is too far away to predict, but the Dems have only a 50/50 chance of keeping the Senate, and no chance at all of regaining the House. You might do better dealing with reality.
