When she told Amanpour she was back to be part of the Resistance, I was just a little bit thrilled. She’s a street fighter at her core and one of those people whose understanding of fear is a hazy and vague thing mostly derived from other people’s experiences as portrayed in books and movies. And I think in general it’s the women who will lead this fight. Call it a hunch.

It doesn’t sound much to me like she’s trying to lead the movement. She’s just trying to make sure it’s well funded to actually help get people elected. I’m guessing she sees that while the Resistance is strong, it needs money and lots of it if we’re going to do anything more than protest and make noise.
ETA: I want that lady to get her gavel back.

She saved us from having Bernie as a candidate, and that’s worth a lot, as far as I’m concerned.

If you want to re-litigate the awfulness of Sanders as a candidate, I can do that until 2020. Otherwise, I’m happy to allow Sanders the same freedom to fundraise that Hillary does… well, assuming Jane doesn’t go to prison, which I’m told is a distinct possibility.
We want her and need her. She bought us this far, no turning back.
She told the entire country what Rump was/is and the “vast right-wing conspiracy” got her. That included cable news the Russians and the FBI … the entire newsie community. She didn’t do the damage but she was the answer to fixing the majority of this country’s problems.
She just told the country the truth but they wanted a Dem version of Rump’s tinfoil hats and confetti road show. She didn’t do the damage as she didn’t elect him.

… except that that result will be that her organization sucks up a lot of that old money. Her lockdown of financial backing and elite support during the campaign sucked the air out of a competitive nomination process. This isn’t quite the same, but it tends in that direction.
In addition, anything Hillary does at this point will — fairly or unfairly — contain the whiff of sour grapes. She should be supporting others — not forming her own organizations. For those who say she’s simply funneling money to other groups: C’mon. Get real. The middleman – or woman – controls the spigot.

Get real. Forming an organization is about controlling the spigot. It’s about power.
Gratuitous advice:
- Don’t spend any of that money on overpriced/commission/consultant-paid TV ads. Spend it on digital and/or field.
- Field offices opening before labor day - or at all - in WI, PA other than the main city suspects, etc. would be awesome.
And that’s a problem because? Are only white men allowed power? Isn’t this exactly what Bernard claims to be doing with his ahem Revolution? Why are the rules always different?
